Stepping Into the Burning Bush

It is not death

It is communion

It is not sacrifice

It is realization

It is not talking

It is revelation

Behold

The Archangel Michael

And his manifestation

As the Holy Countenance

Of the spiritual Hierarchies

He represents

Imparting Heart thoughts

Of cosmic Intelligence

The fire blazes

But does not consume

You eat the mystery

Until you feel the truth

Steal away into the night

Un-witnessed

Cultivate intimacy in secret

Let desire burn steadily

Into Devotion

Wake your Self before the Dawn

And bathe in the Light

Of a thousand Inner Suns

Christ

The Spiritual Sun

Whose light can only be perceived

By my “I” within

Flows towards me across time

Through many different streams

Desiring to converge and unite

Within my heart

Like a mighty river

The River of Isis

Swelling to a remembrance

Bringing me home

As an ancient orphan of Osiris

To the Holy Fire

From which we were all born
